@phistorians Reading about Numerian - roman-empire.net/people/numeri - I find references to him being a critically acclaimed poet in his day. Do you happen to know if any of his poetry survived? I'm writing a coin of his & I'd include some if I can find it. It seems more successful to talk about that than "he went on a father-son war adventure. Dad died (possibly murdered), then he died (probably murdered) on the way home" :D Neither dad nor either of his sons got long service leave as emperors.
