For and @art_history_animalia here is a featured on the 1968 - 1983 1 Ngwee coin from . I don't have one handy, but here is an image from the Numista website en.numista.com/catalogue/index

@CoinOfNote I have one of those Zambia coins in my collection :D
Sadly it's the only circulating coin that's ever had an aardvark on it, right? That and the one commemorative one from the Gambia also shown on the Numista site. Zambia is the real MVP because they put the aardvark on one of their banknotes too, once again apparently the only nation ever to do so: en.numista.com/catalogue/note2

@CoinOfNote nice! Yes I’ll collect tokens too if there is a cool animal on it. :) With regards to there’s way more to choose from on the postage stamp side of things, with a good number of countries having put them on their designs. My favorite is this 2011 sheet from as it’s a team-up with fellow myrmecophagous mammals & all-around awesome animals, :

@art_history_animalia Very nice! Aww looks like Pangolins aren't the most popular coin subject either. There are three on Numista. A gold and a silver issue from the Congo, and a silver coin from Malawi - all non-circulating.

@art_history_animalia No banknotes either, but there is a nice octagonal fantasy 20 Yuan from Wuhan with a pangolin
