Dragonfly<p>This month I talk with Aneesa Jamal, founder of Cogitation Club in India. The program allows climate- and Earth-based fiction to be written and illustrated by children and teens. Shantell Powell<p>Horns and Rattles Press nominated my story "The Last Trench" for the ECO24 Year's Best Speculative Ecofiction. That's so sweet of them! They published it last year in Bitter Become the Fields, a horror anthology. <a href="https://www.apexbookcompany.com/blogs/frontpage/eco24-the-years-best-speculative-ecofiction" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">apexbookcompany.com/blogs/fron</span><span class="invisible">tpage/eco24-the-years-best-speculative-ecofiction</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/EcoFiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EcoFiction</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/SpeculativeFiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SpeculativeFiction</span></a> <a href="https://c.im/tags/WritingCommunity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WritingCommunity</span></a></p>

Stelliform Press<p>ICYMI, Dragonfly.eco posted a wonderful interview with R.A. Busby about her horror novella YOU WILL SPEAK FOR THE DEAD. It's striking how right from the start (pictured in the graphic) Mary Woodbury refers to this novella as "beautiful" and focuses on the positive and even tender aspects of a novella that is actually body horror. I love the complexity of this book. </p><p>Find the interview here: <a href="https://dragonfly.eco/r-a-busby-spotlight/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">dragonfly.eco/r-a-busby-spotli</span><span class="invisible">ght/</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/bookstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bookstodon</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/books" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>books</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/horror" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>horror</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/novella" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>novella</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/ecohorror" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ecohorror</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/ecofiction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ecofiction</span></a></p>
