AmandaI love linen stitch! CharlotteMaybe I should tell you a little about myself…? My name is Charlotte and I’ve been knitting for about 12 years now. Sometimes I crochet a little as well. The jumper in the picture is Kells by Lucy Hague which I test knitted. It’s my all time favourite knit! The colours, the pattern, the fit, it’s perfect. <br> <br> I work for the University of Oxford (hence the Oxford part in my username) and have absolutely fallen in love with the beautiful city. As a researcher I have access to all the colleges which is very nice because they usually have amazing buildings and gardens. Even though I work for the faculty of music, I also belong to a college, which is Somerville. <br> <br> It’s funny I started with knitting and work in this introduction as most of my time is spent on my little daughter who is 18 months at the moment. She’s absolutely adorable and a little cheeky monkey as well. I love knitting little jumpers and cardigans for her. She’s still young enough to not object to any of them. <br> <br> So that’s it I think. Lena245<p>I am making my niece a sweater. I swatched and blocked and everything was perfect. As is customary for me, I am now well into the sweater and I am starting to panic. Is there enough yarn, was the swatch correct, is it going to be too small. So I am wet blocking the second sleeve to see where exactly I am in this. CharlotteSharing some oldies. This is a cable jumper I knitted for my fiancé a few years ago.
