Okay this works! I've got something for searching #YouTube via #Wikipedia , with date-bounded search queries supplied not only via Wikipedia footnotes, but also via Gossip Machine (finding Wikipedia page view spikes and turning them into date-bounded YouTube searches.)

DANG it works good. There are a lot of news outlets on YouTube if you can fine down your search enough to get to their content.
