Images of servicemen and their wives or girlfriends, kissing for what might be the last time for years to come or forever, and songs, particularly about love and romance, captured the feeling of longing and loss during the second World War.
When I view Alfred Eisenstaedt’s #photos taken in #pennstation I’m reminded of some of the era’s wonderful songs such as “I’ll Be Seeing You,” There’ll Never Be Another You,” and “We’ll Meet Again.”
