@jnthnwwlsn Having adjuncted with a private office and once with only a small room I shared with a dozen other adjuncts, it was amazing what a difference the office made.
@jnthnwwlsn True. And doing so can have a big effect on students. At UT San Antonio, they doubled the pay of some faculty who were teaching lots of students. Those faculty didn't have to adjunct elsewhere, allowing them to focus on UT students, and the % of students passing those courses went way up.
