"Freeway of Love" is a song by American singer #ArethaFranklin. It was written by #JeffreyCohen and #NaradaMichaelWalden and produced by the latter for Franklin's thirtieth studio album #WhosZoominWho (1985). The song features a notable contribution from #ClarenceClemons, the saxophonist from #BruceSpringsteen’'s #EStreetBand. #Sylvester, #MarthaWash, and #JeanieTracy provided backup vocals on "Freeway of Love". Released as the album's lead single on June 5, 1985.

The E Street Band put on an exuberant show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, last night. It had minimal shtick and lots of music, one song after the other from a deep catalog, including "Kitty's Back" (the horn section! Bruce's string-bending!), "Trapped" (just like in '92) and a poignant "Last Man Standing." The fans around me were swapping concert stories and knew the lyrics by heart.
