Spent weekend canvassing in NV. Coming from a 'blue' state, this was a huge wakeup call. GOTV is critical, 3 takeaways:

1. Race, gender, disinfo had "lifelong" Dems we met repeating media themes, some even "betting against Trump" & "voting for Vance" or Kennedy

2. The younger the voter, the more enthusiasm for Harris/Walz #TheKidsAreAlright

3. If you canvas, PLEASE volunteer with official campaign teams. Ran into adhoc groups out there whose efforts were backfiring.

In the tram, two youngsters (ca 14 years old) called Kickl a wanker, then more soft-spoken, they explained to an elderly lady why their birth in Austria is an arbitrary privilege. Thanks, you made my day. #TheKidsAreAlright

A class of about 20 grade 5 kids got on the bus and sat in the seats around me. White kid in the seat next to me turns to an Asian classmate and says "Can we speak in Chinese?" I cringe, anticipating the type of dumb ching chong bing bong crap the kids I grew up with would have started in on. Instead, they start speaking in Mandarin. Not great, clearly the White kid is learning, but enough to hold a conversation about which high school they want to go to. #thekidsarealright
