My life project to watch every movie Jason Statham has ever starred in continues. Last night, I watched Meg 2: The Trench, a very educational movie as it turns out. Because, apparently, a human being can survive swimming without wearing any kind of protective suit or oxygen source at an oceanic depth of 25,000 feet. All you need to do is fill your sinuses with water. Good to know.

Herself and I saw #Meg2. It was sly, clever, stupid fun with a good brisk cadence.

Herself prepared for it by watching the first Meg (I'd seen it but she had not) -- but really, this was entirely unnecessary.

I could just spew comments about this #Meg2 trailer for days. Sure, it steals from a dozen different movies; I won't even approach the biological issues. But the song? Really, that's just super DUMB. https://youtu.be/ga6dQke7tb0

It may be the most bonkers, wild, ridiculous, over the top trailer I've ever seen
