I was thinking about getting the new Switch 2 to play Pokemon Legends ZA, but after seeing the games' prices, it will be a hard pass for me. $90 for a physical game is insane. #Switch2 #NintendoDirect

Props to Nintendo for being the only company these days that can announce a new product without mentioning AI.

When adjusted for inflation, $450 for the console and $80 for a game is still really freaking cheap compared to how things were in the 80s, but that said, yeah, it's a lot, especially In This Economy™

I want the people behind the games to get paid but I also do not get paid myself, soooooo yeah

(that and most major video games just don't compel me like they used to)

Okay, but what will the Nintendo Switch 2 game cards TASTE like?

Ooof. The price for the Nintendo Switch 2 at $450 (vs $300 for the OG Switch) feels pretty unreasonable.

Probably going to sit this one out at launch and wait for it to come down/go on sales eventually.
