Omg my photo gallery just totally derailed my train of thought!
"Revisit the moment"
Moment my ass, that took hours!

From February: Tech companies that still support DEI (and alternatives to ones that don’t). Now updated with Adobe (*sigh*)...
This #ThrowbackThursday, closely following Trans Day of Visibility, we wanted to focus on trans history, so we’re looking back at the work of Joseph Gamble in “Information Pleases”: Dictionaries and Trans History.
Providing an interesting exploration of the codification of trans related terms into dictionaries, Gamble also notes that this history spans not only across decades, but centuries.

Look at that mini kitten fluff! Ketzeleh at just over a year old.
#ThrowbackThursday to my long-ago wedding day, soon after college graduation. You can tell it was long ago by the mini-dress! The marriage ended long ago, too.
Poor photo quality because we didn't have a professional photographer.
For #ThrowbackThursday I'm realizing that some things never change.
For #ThrowbackThursday here’s my 1990s Tyranid Screamer-Killer updated with LED effects (repainted April 2022).

Iceland is my happy place, but if you asked me which part of Iceland made me the happiest, I'd say with 100% certainty, it's the Eastfjords.
I took this photo there, somewhere between Egilsstaðir and Reyðarfjorður, in October 2017. Been back to Iceland a couple of times since but not to the Eastfjords. Really looking forward to being back there next month.
Here's a throwback for @czarbucks ... from that time 16 years ago when I went out into nature to take pictures.
This is Bent Creek Experimental Forest, near Asheville, North Carolina. Bent Creek is the oldest federal experimental forest east of the Mississippi. It's also where I said to my sister who took me there: "Oh look, it's a place for forest rangers with OCD. They number the trees so they can count them every morning."
Anyway, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, there's a good chance half of the trees are now gone. And sadly, with that shithead in the White House, there's a good chance half of the forest rangers are gone too.
My first project #Tit4Cat photo, "sweater" was uploaded on April 20th, 2024. That was 348 days ago.
Since then, I've uploaded 196 photos (the 132 currently available, 22 archived, and 42 Lovense sessions) — that's an average of 0.56 photos per day!
My main gallery has been downloaded 9966 times, which is an average of 28.64 times per day since it went live!
It has gathered *hundreds* of cute pet pictures in response (I wish I had a total count for this).
Thanks for making this a fun experiment—I plan to keep it up for as long as there's interest (and cute pet pics)
I just found these photos from about twenty years ago of me & @mrowster at an art installation in the Battersea Power Station in London--long before it was turned into a mall. I don't remember who the artist was but there was clothing throughout the building that you could try on. #ThrowbackThursday #Art #Fashion #London

#ThrowbackThursday to one of my favorite images taken on a trip to the #Canadian #RockyMountains back in 2021.
I've re-processed it now, after having lost the original edit. Thankfully I still have the RAW file!
It became a favorite mostly because of the setting I shot it in. A quiet moment in a very busy trip that became a moment to relax mentally and enjoy the evening breeze.

Out of the blue a friend sent me this, we guess from about 1990. Wish I still had that much hair! And still black! The little one is Alex, wife took care of him for a few years. #ThrowbackThursday
