McGraw Hill #TeachWorldHistory textbook combines ancient India and China into one chapter, while spreading the ancient Mediterranean across two chapters (Greece and Rome).
Noticing this (again, because my district has used an earlier edition of this text) as I prepare for a #tutoring lesson.
Worth noting in these times that white educators have been comfortable with a narrative of the world that is essentially Europe, et al. (ancient Mediterranean was not "Europe," but that is where this narrative is headed). Some would present this narrative as "neutral." Excellent take down of this concept by @inthehands
