Spider organs 3d model WIP. The plan is to 3d print in clear resin, with the organs as cavities I can fill with colored paint. I don't know if this will work!

Many spiders make a cocktail from their prey that only leaves an exoskeleton behind, but some use their cheliceral teeth (the mouthparts with the fangs on the tips) to chew their food instead. This male Four-spotted Orbweaver appears to be cleaning its teeth, possibly after a nice meal

Crossing Paths With A Tarantula On The Salt Flats by Debra Martz
The contrast of the white #salt with the Brown #Tarantula made this #arachnid really stand out. The shadows of its legs also amazed me. September is mating season for them here in Oklahoma, but I didn't see another one near. Taken at the end of Sept at the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge.

Here's a #spider I snapped in the garden this week. It was swaying a little in the wind, so I set up a macro lens on a tripod and let the wind do the focus stacking. It didn't quite get every bit of the spider or web in focus but did pretty well.

Sigma 105mm f2.8 four thirds mount via an mmf3 adapter on Olympus EM1iii - a cheapskate version of the Oly90mm macro.
